CERCS

Hello, our names are Mohamed el Abidi, Oriol Calderé, and Diego Reyes. We are students at Institute Guillem de Berguedà. Ok let’s get to started.
So, today we want to talk to you about the Cercs.
Any of you know where it is found Cercs? Ok, need not answer.

- Location: Cercs, coming from Berga is the first town that lies at an altitude of six hundred and forty feet. Located north of the city of Berga, stretching from the mountains to Rasos de Peguera and Vallcebre.
 
- Population: Cercs have three hundred thirty-four thousand residents of 2009 dated.
- Features: has an area of forty-seven point thirty-five square kilometers.

So right now we will explain the work and industry of city Cercs and interesting things to see; WORK AND INDUSTRY ( BEFORE AND NOW)
- BEFORE: Before people worked in the textile industry and in coal mining and mine too.
- ACTUALLY: people now work more Than anything in the tertiary sector, Such as clothing stores, clerks, servants, etc.

INDUSTRY: Cercs had a mine factory, there was to holdings of carbon and actually it’s closed.
INTERESTING THINGS TO SEE
Ok, quickly I will go on to explain about some Cercs monuments such as:
to start a church called ‘’Sant Quirze de Pedret’’: It is a Romanesque church with a single ship inside we can found paintings very ancient, but still retained.
Cercs has a monument known as the Mining Museum Cercs, translated into Catalan: Museu de les mines Cercs, it was founded in 1999.
For tourists there are many paths for cycling, near the mountains are roads through the forest where you can find peace and balance natural
Cercs have not famous people but, Cercs but otherwise has an annual festival that lasts one day called ‘’la dada de Sant Jordi’’
 
The feast of Sant Jordi are the set of events that take place around April 23, when Jordi died beheaded, a Roman soldier turned Christian saint. In his real life they know very little but his legend, whereby this hero freed a beautiful princess from the clutches of a terrible dragon.
Now we will go to explain a little about culinary industry:
Cercs unfortunately and hasn’t any special food or drink, but still has enough variety of restaurants frequently visit.
To finish we wanted to talk about what more we liked the town of Cercs:

first, the roads for cycling, personally for me is a wonderful thing, because I'm a fan of bikes, and as a second, something that me and my friends liked group is ''la diada de Sant Jordi'' is an annual celebrations which we enjoy participating.
 
 

WHEN I WAS A CHILD

When I was a child, I remember that I liked riding bike very much. I lived in Cardona for 6 years. My mum was a teacher in a school for 2 years. When I was four years ago, My sister was born in the hospital of Berga. In 1999 I went to live in La Rodonella, its a little town near to Sant Jordi of Cercs. When I celebrated my 9th Birthday, I recived my first bike,and three months before that, Ihad my first accident, and my arm was broken. In 2001 my grandfather died because of the smoke. And finally in 2004 I had my first competition bike in Cal Rosal, but I need to practise more.
